Reluctant Social Networker?
Not everybody wants to Tweet! Some of us, horror of horrors, actually think Facebook is a load of bollox, wastes time and is an excuse for avoiding work while AT work!
BUT, getting on top of Social Networking is a ‘must do’ – how to reconcile?
LinkedIn, well that’s kind of legit – MySpace? Excuse me I’m not a child or a wannabee pop group!
No matter what your stance on Social Networking generally I bet, if you’re serious about it and recognize its power when it comes to ‘branding’ yourself and your main site on the Web you’ll be loyal to just a couple of sites e.g. Facebook and Twitter perhaps. Because there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to stay on top of all of them. That’s a highly practical standpoint and one I shall shortly turn on its head!
I’ll be honest, as usual, and tell you that the whole ethos behind Social Networking drives me NUTS! I guess I’m not a naturally gregarious person. In other words the self sabotaging belief that: “Who am I to tell other people what to do?” probably holds me back :-)
SO, Great News For Folks Like Me!
Check out how to sign up to two free sites and control a seemingly massive number of Social Networks effortlessly – BRILLIANT!

I am a Facebook fan yes I admit, I got into it because at first it was a great way to stay in contact with old friends. However, now I use as a way to advertise my site to the masses. I just set an advertising account and each month pay about 25 bucks to advertise my site and drive traffic to my site. It has been amazing the power of Facebook I recommend it to all those out there, even if they don’t really care for it. ;)
I was hesitant too of using Social Media, but now after giving it a chance I use it daily, especially Twitter. It is a great way to reach a whole hell of a lot of people that are interested in you in one way or another. It took sometime to learn and figure out but now I can honestly say it is an awesome tool for all of to use.
Clive, thanks for letting me know about hoot suite, just checked it out, and I will be using it for sure. As a fellow loather of Facebook, I agree you with in that if used properly you can do a lot of good of Facebook. Thanks man.
