Here’s a Mind Map of what’s covered in the Basic Wordpress tutorials from installation to tweaking stuff, there’s quite a bit to do before your very first post!
The fact is that we’ve got quite a bit to do before we start adding our posts and content ( in whatever form that’s going to take: text/images/video/audio or a combination thereof).
Once we’ve got your Wordpress installed we’ll need to tweak settings, install essential plugins ( tweak them too!) and generally get the blog just the way we want it to appear and work for visitors, search engines and (not least) ourselves. Spending a few hours getting your new blog set up properly will save you a lot of time, and potential grief, in the future!
