ABOUT BLOGBRIEFING.COM

CliveHi my name’s Clive McGonigal and, other than being a well known typing error, I’m something of an Evangelist when it comes to WordPress sites and why every website address should have one installed!

I’ve been designing sites on the web since 1997 – I started off with the ‘Old School’ HTML website stuff – it was BORING ( and hard work)!

Those static sites ( and there’s a lot just like that still around) were just like a Business Card or Yellow Pages Advert – Old Hat! No visitor interactivity and with none of the bells and whistles that make WordPress CMS built sites so very cool.

I suppose my main interests are the clients for whom I’ve built sites for, and continue to manage for them.

Once I discovered WordPress I realised it gave my clients more freedom – they could edit their own sites themselves and just call me in for the heavy lifting when required.

I offer them an optional monthly plan whereby I update their site and plugins, backup all their content and run a security scan and fix any issues. Basically I take care of all the ‘back office’ stuff so they don’t have to. You can find out more about my regular work website here.

I also offer a really special ‘Pimp My Blog‘ free WordPress install ( all ‘bells and whistles‘ included) here on Blog Briefing. I haven’t seen a better deal on the web yet, if I say so myself :-)

But Blog Briefing is mostly where I preach about the latest cool stuff in WordPress – themes, plugins you name it. I’m a Blogging Fundamentalist – with the accent on ‘Fun’ rather than ‘mental’! I hope you find something useful here to assist you in your blogging efforts.

Catch you later,

Clive
