So I’ll explain, underneath each one, what I use those specific themes ( templates) for and why you might consider, depending on your online marketing area or niche, using one, some or all of these WordPress themes…

Premium WordPress Templates frpm Elegant Themes

Elegant Themes

Like many premium WordPress template suppliers Elegant Themes allow you to download ALL their themes for one price which gives you one year access to their Support and any updates of any theme you use – sometimes required when WordPress gets updated.

With 86 themes, at time of writing, and new ones being added regularly I particularly like their eye for catchy designs and when I’m looking to create something a bit special I use one of their themes. Their support is rock solid as their 200,000 customers would testify.

Solostream WordPress Templates

Solostream Themes

I started using Solostream WordPress themes over 7 years ago and continue using them to this day. The majority of the sites I build for my clients have a Solostream theme as they have a slightly more ‘corporate’ look about them. But there are exceptions – this site for example uses one of their more recently released themes.

Their Support team is great too and will do customized work for me when I need it. Great for me as I’m more of a designer and sometimes the techy aspect of adding customized code is beyond me. ( Ask for Alistair and say Clive sent you!)

OptimizePress 2.0 Theme

OptimizePress 2.0 Theme

If you dabble in Internet Marketing, as I do, or aime to make a full time living from promoting products you create or promoting other peoples products and grab commissions then you need to check out Optimize Press

Optin pages, delivery pages and complete Sales Funnels – great for Membership sites too – Optimize Press is used by most of the internet marketers I know. Recently rebuilt from the ground up for ease of use OptimizePress 2.0 is the business!

But let’s face it most offline businesses care more about getting customers through their doors or for their phone to ring with orders and that process always starts with getting the ‘lead’.

For fast and funky looking lead capture pages I use the WP-Offliners Theme. The optin email form can be set to send the leads info to my clients, to me or both.¬†Easily customizable to use over and over for clients and they all look different. Can be turned into a multi-page site too but it’s the simple, in your face, design that captures those all important leads that businesses crave!

Next week I’ll be looking at alternatives to WordPress Themes and templates to capture leads for online or offline businesses and for which, beleive it or not you don’t even NEED a website, WordPress or otherwise.

Thanks for all the work in preparing this post,I see some very elegant themes that I never new about, Spot on!

  2. Great post. I particularly like Elegant Themes which I own and will be using it for a charitable site which I own and administer and which needs to have its look totally upgraded. Actually I have used it a number of times already.

I also have the old version of Optimize press, which I hated. Not being very techy I found the learning curve just too much for me. So I bought a plugin which does the job quite easily and which I can use with all my favorite themes.

I do like the sound of WP Offliners which is new to me and will have a closer look at that one.

    Thanks for the info Clive.
