Your Blog on TV? Wow!
I’m a great fan of Google Alerts. You type in your keyword phrase query and Google will send you an email about sites on the WWW that are relevant. A great way of finding ideas/news related to your market!
This came into my Inbox today! Blimey, I can promote myself on the telly!

I bet this will be a Google innovation ( will these guys never stop?) that will revolutionize the way we promote our blogs, and by definition our businesses. I’ve already thought up some great ad campaigns for products I promote as an affiliate and will report back!

Guess it will have to be aimed at what anyone watching TV at 3 a.m. will be interested in though :-) …
I’m thinking: “Why Did My Wife Leave Me?“ kind of stuff!
My personal feeling is that enabling the ‘little guy’ to promote on the ‘box’ alongside all those mega corporations is just amazing! What do you think?

I’m with Lauren, I love to hear stories of the little guy competing against the industry giants. Google Alerts looks to be amazing, I love just about anything Google related and this looks like just the tool I need to make my blog even better.
Anytime the little guy can step up and play with the Big Boys I am a down with it. Google Alerts is the real deal I use it regularly to find sites that I can write about or contact. I recommend much like Clive to use this resource as much as possible.
Hey, I am one of those people up at 3am. :). As a blogger myself I find the hardest thing to do daily is find something to right about. Thanks for pointing me to Google Alerts. I always saw in my google settings, but never really gave it any thought to find out what it was. Now that you have let me know about it, I will be using it as much as possible.
