I live, breathe and sleep Social Media. I am a big advocate in the benefits of social sharing and creating a community that can become loyal customers for the products of the brand that take the social media ball and just run with it. I spend a lot of time showing people that Facebook is more than Farmville and twitter is more than Ashton Kutcher.

I have a Facebook account, but I only use it for advertising purposes and let me tell you that regardless of how you feel about Social Marketing, if you use it wisely and are willing to put sometime into it, it will pay off in the end. I have made a quite a few bucks targeted specific traffic to my website which has been a huge boost to my company. It was hard at first but after a while Facebook has been a great resource for me and my company. Thank You Clive for such an honest and truthful post.

I’m not much of a Facebook fan myself, my kids seem to spend half of their lives on it, but I also know for our business Facebook has been a great marketing tool in introducing us and what we do to the rest of the world. I don’t have an account myself and don’t use, but I agree with you we need it as much as we Twitter and all the other Social Networking sites.

I am a Facebook fan yes I admit, I got into it because at first it was a great way to stay in contact with old friends. However, now I use as a way to advertise my site to the masses. I just set an advertising account and each month pay about 25 bucks to advertise my site and drive traffic to my site. It has been amazing the power of Facebook I recommend it to all those out there, even if they don’t really care for it. ;)

I was hesitant too of using Social Media, but now after giving it a chance I use it daily, especially Twitter. It is a great way to reach a whole hell of a lot of people that are interested in you in one way or another. It took sometime to learn and figure out but now I can honestly say it is an awesome tool for all of to use.

Clive, thanks for letting me know about hoot suite, just checked it out, and I will be using it for sure. As a fellow loather of Facebook, I agree you with in that if used properly you can do a lot of good of Facebook. Thanks man.
