Glad you got it fixed - it's nice to have a techie friend! I note that it was in the EMail Registration section of the DDFM1 set up where you put your email - my form works fine without my making those changes! Anyway as I'm certainly not techie-minded I just like things to work :-)

Hi Clive,

I have sorted the contact form out (I say I...I mean my techy friend!) and the problem was that in the DDFM1 contact form wasn't set up with the name and an email address for the "contact email" to be inside my domain.

I have NO idea what this means! My friend is sat next to me dictating this as I type!!

Anyway its sorted. Thanks

Ni Nikki,
Having looked at your Blog I can see (the good news) is that you have indeed set everything up correctly but (the bad news) is that it's an issue you need to take to the Support staff of your hosting company as it would appear that they have disabled the server (where your blog sits) from using the PHP mail function that this plugin requires. I'm no techie though so it might be something else but they'll be able to at least know what the problem is and fix it, or not depending on their policy

While waiting to hear from them you might consider deactivating the DD Contact form plugin and try another such as this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/si-contact-form/

Not all Contact Form plugins work the same way so, if it's something other than the PHP mail function, another plugin, such as this, may work for you.
